Top Ten Tuesday (2) – Authors I’ve Read the Most Books From

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful ladies over at The Broke and Bookish. This week’s topic is ‘Top Ten Authors I’ve Read Books From’

This week’s topic made me realize how I read books from a variety of authors. It took me awhile to figure it out,  but I think I remembered everyone.

Carolyn Keene: ~40 books

I was completely and utterly obsessed with this series in elementary and middle school! I read most of the main series plus some of the spin offs as well. Fun fact: the books were created by more than one person using the pen name Carolyn Keene.

american girl

American Girl series: ~20 books

Technically this isn’t an author but since I read so many I decided to add it to my list. I read at least one book for each of these characters so I know and love them all. This series was fun and quickly became my obsession when I was younger.

dear america

Dear America series: 15-20 books

Another series- but once again I was obsessed with them. I would read these in bulks when I was younger, I loved them so much that I still remember some of the stories.

Rick Riordan: 14 books

I was actually surprised to discover that I’ve read so many books from Rick. I read all 3 of his series as well as the graphic novel of The Lost Hero.

lux series

Jennifer Armentrout: 12 books

Another surprising number! What’s funny is that I still own 5 books by her that I haven’t read yet so this number will be increasing very soon.

Cassandra Clare: 10 books

I will always love Cassandra Clare’s worlds! So far I’ve only read The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, but I’m looking forward to reading The Bane Chronicles, The Iron Trial, and The Copper Gauntlet this year!

Chicken Soup for the Soul series: 6-10 books

I don’t know why I got into this series in middle school, but I was obsessed! I read every kid/pre-teen/teen book that my library offered. I then tried to read a mother/daughter one but my mom read it and told me I wasn’t old enough to read it yet. After that my craze ended.

faerie path

Frewin Jones: 7 books

I was, and still am, in love with this series. I had never read a book quite like these before so I was immediately enchanted by the faeries, castles, and separate realms! I often would try to imagine myself into the story because I desperately wanted to live in that world.

harry potter

J.K. Rowling: 7 books

*sigh* I really miss these days. I read the entire series seven times. A few times I would reread the books right after I finished rereading them! It got so bad that my mom threatened to hide the books if I didn’t start reading other stories soon.

megan duke books

Megan Duke: 6 books

My latest obsession has been all things Megan Duke! Not only is Megan an awesome fried but she is an incredible writer. I cannot wait to devour all of her future books(:

*Please note that none of these pictures are mine, I just grabbed them from google
